We had a power outage today. According to the information I got on the Rocky Mountain Power website, it was something at the substation that went out. But, that is not why I writing this post.
I was at the gate checking some things out, when the gates, both the entry and the exit gates opened. I knew immediately that we had a power outage.
For your peace of mind, when the power goes out, the gates will open automatically.
Just thought you’d like to know.

Ever since we replaced the power infrastructure at the gate, the issues with the gate have been resolved. That was a good investment.

I do have extra pedestrian gate keys, if you need one.
If you need to have the gate left open for a gathering at your home, just let me know and I can leave the gate open.

As a reminder, don’t give your gate code to strangers. Instead, have them call you from the gate entry system. Press “9” when you get the phone call from the gate.
