Hello from Bruce Cutler, one of your neighbors. As the gate keeper, I have been working with the contractor installing Google fiber. The past week the contractor has installed the infrastructure for Google Fiber in our Trimble Creek HOA.
They are almost done with this project. When I spoke to Richard, the foreman, he said that their goal when installing in a private community, is to finish the work as quickly as possible, hopefully within a week. They only have one step left to finish, which I will mention later. Other than that and burying the cables on Avignon, they are done!

Put cones to signify that they are going to be cutting into the pavement and to prevent cars from parking 
The cables were installed on the north side of the gates to prevent accidental cutting of the gate electrical wires. 
Each home will have a box. For now, these are buried in the ground. When you’re ready to install in your home, they will dig up the cables. 
Cut round holes in the pavement. 
Excavate round holes. They did this with high pressure water and a huge vacuum truck. 
Cut the pavement for the cables 
The round holes make easier to push cables underneath gutter. At a few points the cables were taken across the roads. 
Small excavation for the cables 
Two cables installed. The small one is a tracker cable and the other is an empty pipe into which the fiber will be installed. The actual fiber will be installed later. 
A junction box is ready for each residence. 
Two GFIber boxes were installed. One at the end of Le Rosier and the at the end of Avignon. 
Get ready to pour concrete once the cables are inserted 
You can now remove the flags from your yard. They are no longer needed for this project.
The following video shows them cutting the hole in the asphalt in which the cables will be placed.
The following video shows them filling the holes they just made with cement.
The final step, which is not yet completed, will be sealing the cement with a tar-like material. They have to wait until the cement is completely dry before they do that. This last step will probably occur next week, depending on the weather. They have done this already to our neighbors on Trimble Creek Drive. Ours will look the same.
