One of the great benefits of living in the Trimble Creek HOA is having the grass mown weekly during the summer, having the leaves raked in the fall and having the bushes trimmed a couple of times a year. This relieves the residents of having to do this work themselves.

But, with it comes many challenges for the HOA, the most significant is keeping everyone happy. As one of our neighbors has said: “The landscape company will never do the lawns and gardens as well as you would if you were doing it, that’s just the way it is.” I think that’s good advice. The trustees try very hard to find good landscaping companies at a reasonable cost. Overall, the landscaping is done very well and our neighborhood always looks good.

If you have concerns about the landscaping, owners should not speak directly with the landscapers. Their sole point of contact is the Landscape Committee chair, who is currently, Glen Clayburn. Please contact Glen with your concerns. He will appropriately relay your concerns to the landscape company. If we all try to tell the landscapers what to do, their workers get very frustrated. They are doing what they’ve been told to do.

In the winter, if we get more than 3 inches of snow, the HOA will plow the roads for us. This includes the driveways and sidewalks. If there is less than 3 inches or snow on the roads and driveways, you will have to shovel it yourself. So you may want to keep a snow shovel on hand.
